Course Objective
To equip learners with professional skills and scientific understanding in skin care, hair design, makeup artistry, nail technology, and spa treatments, preparing them for careers in beauty therapy, salon management, and aesthetics specialization.
Detailed Module Outline
Module 1: Introduction to Cosmetology (10 Credit Hours)
- Distinguishing between Cosmetology (Skill), Salon (Place), Beautician (Technician) and Esthetician (Specialized Technician) services
- History and scope of all above services
- Sanitation, disinfection & sterilization: The most critical foundation. Proper cleaning of tools, workstations, and hands.
- Layman Introduction to anatomy and physiology of skin, hair, and nails
- Analyzing skin, hair, and nails; discussing needs and expectations; maintaining client records
- Professional ethics & salon Management; client care, communication, booking, retail sales, and basic business practices.
Module 2: Skin Care & Facial Treatments (Esthetics) (20 Credit Hours)
- Skin types and conditions; determining skin type (oily, dry, combination, normal) and conditions (acne, aging, hyperpigmentation, sensitive).
- Cleansing, steaming, exfoliation (mechanical & chemical), extractions (blackheads/whiteheads), toning, massage, mask application, and moisturizing
- Facial Massage Techniques: Effleurage, petrissage, tapotement for relaxation and circulation
- Exfoliation Methods: Microdermabrasion (crystal or diamond tip), chemical peels (superficial, often AHA/BHA), and enzyme peels.
- Use of masks (clay, peel-off, collagen)
- Topical, cosmetic, non-medical alternatives to acne management, pigmentation & anti-aging facials
- Advanced Treatments: (Often post-graduate) High-frequency, LED light therapy, microcurrent, ultrasonic skin cleansing, galvanic current for product penetration (iontophoresis) or pore cleansing (desincrustation).
Module 3: Hair Care & Hair Styling (20 Credit Hours)
- Hair structure, scalp analysis, and disorders
- Hair & Scalp Care: Shampooing (Proper techniques for different hair types), conditioning (For dandruff, dryness, or oiliness), and treatments (Protein treatments, moisturizing treatments, and hot oil treatments)
- Hair cutting fundamentals: Basic Cuts: Blunt cuts, layered cuts (uniform and graduated), texturizing techniques (thinning, point cutting, slithering). Classic Cuts: Bobs, pixies, fades, tapers, and shags. Tools: Scissor work, clipper work (with guards), and razor cutting. Styling: Blow-drying techniques, thermal styling (flat iron, curling iron), roller sets, pin curls, and up-styling (buns, chignons, braids for formal events).
- Blow drying, curling, straightening, and setting
- Hair coloring, highlights, lowlights, balayage, ombre and chemical treatments (permanent hair straightening, rebonding, keratin, extenso, nanoplastia)
- Permanent Waving: (For curls) Sectioning, rod selection, wrapping techniques, chemical processing.
- Permanent Hair Extensions
- Bridal and creative hair styling
Module 4: Makeup Artistry (20 Credit Hours)
- Makeup tools, branded vs. non-branded products, and hygiene
- Color Theory & Face Shapes: Corrective and contouring techniques.
- Basic Application: Foundation matching, concealer, powder, blush, basic eye shadow application, eyeliner, mascara, and lip color.
- Bridal & Day Makeup: Long-lasting, natural, and photo-friendly.
- Evening & Dramatic Makeup: Smoky eyes, bold lips.
- Party and Special Occasions: Weddings, engagments, nikkah, eid and basant festivels.
- HD, airbrush, and photographic makeup
- Creative looks for fashion & media
Module 5: Nail Technology ((15 Credit Hours)

Module 7: Body Treatments & Spa Therapy (10 Credit Hours)
- Waxing techniques; Hard, soft, Hot, cold, Face, Body and Brazilian Waxing
- Full body massage (Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue)
- Body polishing, wraps, and exfoliation
- Hot stone & Thai therapy basics
- Introduction to aromatherapy oils and spa ambience setup
Module 8: Advanced Aesthetic Treatments (Optional Specialization) (25 Credit Hours)
- Basics of electrotherapy (galvanic, high frequency, ultrasonic)
- LED therapy, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning
- Chemical peels and skin rejuvenation
- Laser hair reduction fundamentals
- Radiofrequency tightening, mesotherapy, microneedling overview
Module 9: Salon Management & Client Relations (5 Credit Hours)
- Business setup and legal essentials
- Customer service & communication
- Inventory management & pricing
- Branding and social media for beauty professionals
- Safety, insurance, and recordkeeping
Module 10: Professional Practice & Ethics (5 Credit Hours)
- Professional image and work ethics
- Confidentiality & client trust
- Dealing with contraindications and allergies
- Continuing education and certification pathways
Final Assessment & Portfolio Development
- Theory (MCQ + Short Essays): 20%, Practical & Clinical Evaluation: 40%, Case Portfolio & Viva: 40%
- Portfolio submission (before/after work, client records)
- We also offer paid internship at GoldyZ Multan Aesthetics for 3-6 months, ((optional, only for trainees of 1 year program) based on their final assessment

Optional Specialization (Module 7, alone): PKR. 50,000

*Specialization module can be opted only after completion of selective modules.
